Optical Fingerprints of Polynuclear Complexes in Lead Halide Perovskite Precursor Solutions

چکیده

Solvent–solute interactions in precursor solutions of lead halide perovskites (LHPs) critically impact the quality solution-processed materials, as they to formation a variety poly-iodoplumbates that act building blocks for LHPs. The [PbI2+n]n? complexes is often expected diluted solutions, while coordination occurring at high concentrations not yet well understood. In combined ab initio and experimental work, we demonstrate optical spectra quasi-one-dimensional iodoplumbate PbI2(DMSO)4, Pb2I4(DMSO)6, Pb3I6(DMSO)8 formed dimethyl sulfoxide are compatible with spectral fingerprints measured iodide concentrations. This finding suggests interpretation LHP should account polynuclear complexes.

A lead-halide perovskite molecular ferroelectric semiconductor

Inorganic semiconductor ferroelectrics such as BiFeO3 have shown great potential in photovoltaic and other applications. Currently, semiconducting properties and the corresponding application in optoelectronic devices of hybrid organo-plumbate or stannate are a hot topic of academic research; more and more of such hybrids have been synthesized. Structurally, these hybrids are suitable for explo...

Ultrathin Colloidal Cesium Lead Halide Perovskite Nanowires.

Highly uniform single crystal ultrathin CsPbBr3 nanowires (NWs) with diameter of 2.2 ± 0.2 nm and length up to several microns were successfully synthesized and purified using a catalyst-free colloidal synthesis method followed by a stepwise purification strategy. The NWs have bright photoluminescence (PL) with a photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) of about 30% after surface treatment. Large...

Hybrid Lead Halide Iodide and Lead Halide Bromide in Efficient Hole Conductor Free Perovskite Solar Cell

In this work we used CH3NH3PbInBr3−n (where 0 ≤ n ≤ 3) as hole conductor and light harvester in the solar cell. Various concentrations of methylammonium iodide and methylammonium bromide were studied which reveal that any composition of the hybrid CH3NH3PbInBr3−n can conduct holes. The hybrid perovskite was deposited in two steps, separating it to two precursors to allow better control of the p...

Recent progress in efficient hybrid lead halide perovskite solar cells

The efficiency of perovskite solar cells (PSCs) has been improved from 9.7 to 19.3%, with the highest value of 20.1% achieved in 2014. Such a high photovoltaic performance can be attributed to optically high absorption characteristics and balanced charge transport properties with long diffusion lengths of the hybrid lead halide perovskite materials. In this review, some fundamental details of h...

Lasing in robust cesium lead halide perovskite nanowires.

The rapidly growing field of nanoscale lasers can be advanced through the discovery of new, tunable light sources. The emission wavelength tunability demonstrated in perovskite materials is an attractive property for nanoscale lasers. Whereas organic-inorganic lead halide perovskite materials are known for their instability, cesium lead halides offer a robust alternative without sacrificing emi...
